  1. I remember this from times when the paranormal occupied much of my thinking.
Existential cynicism has destroyed any hope of there being anything but us.
It's a Fairy liquid bottle. You can make rockets of these.
Incidentally, Tetra packs split in half and adorned with a straw mast and paper sail - coloured in with crayons - make excellent ships for bathtime fun.

  2. don't you think aliens would look cooler than this?

plus as antidote to your cynicsm mr hercules, a recent article on the illustrious bbc news site recommends that the number of earth type planets around sun type stars is apparently considerably higher than previously thought.

there is certainly intelligent life in the universe, they just don't want anything to do with us.

    now that's cynicism.

  3. I'd prefer that actually.
After years of debate, some time around 2037 we finally make contact and a really bored looking alien, slightly embarrassed, has to explain that:

"Yes, we have known about earth for some time, but we just couldn't be arsed to talk to you to be honest. You didn't seem like the kind of life forms we would want to hang around with..."

  5. forms happen when they are seen, I mean to say, the mind breeds many insubstantial forms, not many happen to be photographed.

a photograph itself is like a dream waking in its self
