The official Qatar News Agency said Monday that it had received several reports of an unidentified flying object over the northern part of the Qatar peninsula Sunday night. The agency said a number of men and women gave the same description of a "bright revolving disc with changing colors that emits a low hissing sound."

--- is the only extant information on the UFO I saw as a a little boy living in Qatar, the times match up. I once won a forgotten prize in school in windsor, UK, for finding out "a word starting with Q, the second letter not being U". QATAR. In 1984 with no indication of future movements.

Came across indications of a documentary in progress about text adventures of the 80s. It is to be called "GET LAMP" which seems to be a good title. A teaser youtube trailer is here

I find this interesting: the word: "text" , and then the word: "texture" now being used in relation to computer graphics.
