I like Joan Mitchell's work
She was married for a time to
the grove press guy who got beckett
she knew beckett or someone who knew
beckett and so told her husband
look at this
and eventually she was alcoholic
in france and
the abstract expressionists
were no longer praised by
the arts press critics but
that no longer matters,
if it was of
any concern
to anyone
in the first place.
