Artaud-Colour

All the time I was admiring Artaud drawings in books without knowing they were in colour, and then I found this following image

but can't remember where it came from . . .

And now I admire Artaud drawings even more, so where can they be seen in the real life with its walls and colour?

  1. A dream many years ago: The floor of my bedroom - a torso, cut off above knees below rib cage, cross section internal organs (female), lava instead of blood inside these (think filled, bubbling craters on a planet). These images recalled it immediately, though there is little that is directly comparable.

  2. I believe there is a bit of limbs in the artaud pictures, so perhaps you were posessed during that dream by an artaud fragment. Did you wake up hissing in french?

Also, your dream recalls this long ago post:

  3. Yes, I remember the Greer post.
The dream was hyper-realistic. And I awoke whilst still asleep. My room was all correct. The only incongruity being the torso.
Thinking on it again now, perhaps this is what (subconsciously) informed my interest when I saw and photographed Courbet's L'Origine du monde that now appears next to my name, where other people have a face. Though the dream was far more savage and disturbing, as I find the painting quite beautiful and true.
