the thai restaurant + random extra

the drinks were 200en but only until 5 o clock. And I think I had built up certain expectations about the potential experience, thus rendering it eventually unsatisfactory -- I accept full blame.

For example, I had embarked on a daydream wherein the owner people (of the thai restaurant) would be chatty and I would have a reason to say that one of my best friends during the years 9 to 11 (like a convenience store) was a half thai person with the magnificent name of "kriangsak", and obviously he would be well known to them (this is not too unbelievable, his parents had a thai restaurant in bahrain, it was called "hash house", there were triangular cushions to lean on, you sat with your feet in a sort of well beneath the table) -- also I day dreamed that the singer of the wonderful young band "hana no youni" would be there, and be going to the haino gig too, so we would make friends with him &tc.

In the actual reality, un dreamed, what actually happened, was, the place was quite nice, but there was a certain surliness of service -- in fact I found a lot of people that day who were quite surly, and a few instances of dirty looks from elderly types on the train, because of the interracial relationship evident before them, in the lightly rocking carriage streaming through the twisty networks of tokyo . . . (we were not showing affection publicly or anything like that, just standing there)

Excellent news = the band "hana no youni" (I discussed them >here<) are back together and rehearsing for new, as-of-yet unannounced live performances. You should go to their myspace space and listen to "to the pole star" which is in 2 parts.

I am thinking of making some old (10ish years old) unpublished unloved texts available for download. Does anyone know how to do that via this blog format? Preferably without having to make an account for some other service?

Seeing as this is random stuff, I want to proclaim once more my love for the tv series called "LOST" -- if anyone wants to discuss LOST, please use this post to comment, and we can have a long convoluted conversation about it, and attempt a hypothesis or two. No, no-one wanted to, it's upsetting

  1. "hash house" was connected to a running group in bahrain, could the hash something, harriers?maybe? or does that seem too odd?

The food was probably brilliant, tho I was too young at that time to properly appreciate their curry, maybe. All I can recall is the triangular cushions.

Green Curry may be the best food when all the data is gone through.
