In art, an imaginary surfac for determinints in a drawing. The illusion of a three-dimensional objects on a two dimnsional surfacan be created by using linear per-spec-tive. Firstly, a horizon line is estished, witvanishing point. All other lines parallel to the viewer recede, converge, and disappr at this vnishing pThese receding lines give the artist potential planes that are always in perspective. If thinciples of linear perspective are followed, all horizontal and vertical lines will be pal to one aother, ensuring the planes or surfaces created within the work are not distorted.
