today we went to the supermarket. I think we went at a wrong time because there were lots of woman from about mid 20s to 50s and all were mothers. "There is a certain statement being made," I said to mio after, "when a western gaijin twat and a lovely nippon girl enter the streets and the supermarkets together among the resident natives." Anyway, we got what was needed from the supermarket. I managed to get a discount beer, a discount crisp(s), and a carton of red wine.
We got home sharpish.

Eat to protect would seem to fit in with their policies on the whale. I wonder if many friendships between Japanese and Norwegian people have arisen from this? Perhaps you could pretend you are Norwegian.
Those two words directly translated are "Protect, eat" - but Mios translation switched them to "Eat but protect" - so with Japanese sentences, does the ordering not necessarily reflect the meaning? Because in this sentence the ordering is all important as it reflects the priority of the two actions. I remember the darling Japanese like to put their verbs to the end like Yoda.
